Altar Ministry – Assists the Pastor and/or guest speaker during ministry; moves with compassion and by the leading of the Holy Spirit in ministering to the needs of people during service.

Beautification Ministry – Decorates the church for various events and holidays; enhances the atmosphere and physical appearance of the church with decorations.

Benevolence Ministry – Provides comfort and continued support to bereaved families and friends and to those who are sick and/or hospitalized; provides appropriate sentiments for such occasions.

Brotherhood Ministry –  Supports and equips men in the Word for personal, spiritual, physical, and intellectual development; builds relationships and ministers to the needs of boys and men of all ages.

Campus Ministry – Provides encouragement to college students between the age of 18-25; encourages these young adults to become active members of the body of Christ, by promoting an environment on campus, within the community and in within the  church, for the development of ministry gifts, ministry opportunities, and wholesome fellowship.

Capital Stewardship Campaign  – Provides an ongoing opportunity for members and friends of Praise Assembly Church Ministries, Inc. to demonstrate financial commitment to the Kingdom of God and the local church.  Stewardship commitment  helps to pay for current and future building expansions so that people will have a place to hear the gospel, receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, and expand God’s kingdom in this local area.

Children’s Ministry  – Teaches, trains, and equips children to apply God’s Word to their lives; prepares children for ministry throughout the year.

Clothing Ministry – Demonstrates the love of God to the in the church and the community by providing clothing and household items to those in need; provides compassionate intervention through listening and understanding for discernment of needs.

Communion Ministry  –  Prepares the communion elements prior to the observance of Communion service; assists the Pastor during Communion service.

Community Knowledge Center (CKC) – Teaches children and adults basic computer skills. Provides free classes periodically in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other classes as deemed necessary.

Deacons Ministry – Minister to the needs of the congregation by assisting the Pastor as needed, allowing him the time needed to study the Word and pray. Helps to spread the Gospel of Jesus.

Discipleship Ministry – Teaches the truth of the Word and train Christians to apply this truth to life situations; encourages one another to grow to maturity in Christ; train disciples to make disciples.

Evangelism Ministry – Shares the good news of the Gospel with others; introduces people to a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Savior.

Events Ministry – Assists in the planning, facilitation and support of major and individual events associated with Praise Assembly Church Ministries. 

Fine Arts (Dance & Drama) – Ministers to the Lord through song, dance, and music during worship services and other ministry events.

 

What does the bible says concerning Spiritual Gifts?

Food and Clothing Pantry Ministry – Provides food for those in need in the church and in the community. This ministry is available on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Greeters Ministry – Greets and welcomes people attending all services at the church and at other places of ministry; maintains a pleasant, Godly atmosphere that is void of anything that would distract from the Spirit of God.

Guest Ministry – Welcome and greets visitors to Praise Assembly; follow up with a personal phone call upon their visit to the church.

Hospitality Ministry – Prepares and serves food for ministry events; provides repasts for church families during bereavement; and plans and coordinates church events requiring food services.

Local/ International Missions – Provides monetary, prayer and other tangible support for missionaries.

Member Care Ministry  – Communicates and connects proactively with individuals and families of Praise Assembly Church Ministries, Inc.; Provides Christian support for various issues and challenges that members may face in life.

Music/Choir Ministry – Ministers to the Lord and lead others into His presence through song and music.

Nursing Home Ministry – Visits and provides spiritual and other support for residents in nursing homes.

Pastoral Care Ministry – Provides for the personal needs of the Pastor, guest speakers, or ministers prior to and during ministry.

Prayer Ministry – Prays corporately during designated times of the week; coordinates prayer for special purposes.

Prison Ministry – Ministers to those who are incarcerated; provides support and hope through Jesus Christ for those transitioning from prison into society.

Singles Ministry – Connects and develops relationships with other singles in the church; encourages one another to remain fully devoted to God’s service; seeks ministry opportunity.

Sound & Media Ministry – Records sermons, messages, and special events during service times; provides CDs and DVDs of messages for sale, Guest Ministry distribution, and preparation for steaming video on the church website and radio broadcasts. We provide operation of all audio – visual equipment to help enhance the service experience.

Usher Ministry – Welcomes and greets church attendants for  services; assists with seating; serves the needs of the congregation; assists the Pastor; and monitors and maintains order during all service times.

Van/Transportation – Transports those needing assistance to Sunday church and weekday services.

Women of Grace – Utilizes gifts and talents to provide ministry to women of the church and the community; supports women of all ages in the Word for the development of the whole person; engages in opportunities that promote godly relationships.

Young Adult Ministry –  Connects young adults between the ages of 26 – 35 in the church; provides ministry that meet the spiritual and relational needs while becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.

Youth Ministry – Connects the youth, ages 12-18, in the church; provides ministry to meet spiritual and relational needs while becoming fully devoted followers of Christ; equips the youth for the future through the study of God’s Word.
